Hurricane Irma washed out September's Art Walk, so October will be doubly special. Our artists have been busy finishing a lot of new work to show in October. More than 20 local artists are on display. This month's event is in conjunction with the "Come Out St. Pete" festivities, so expect amazing comradery in the streets and businesses of the Grand Central District where we are located. We are in the center of some of the best local bars, restaurants, and breweries, so make a full night of this month's St. Pete Art Walk.
See the fruits of our artists' labors this month as we round out our summer schedule. The works of more than 20 local artists will be on display with many of the artists in attendance to discuss their work. We are one of the few galleries in St. Petersburg that limits our representation to only local Tampa Bay area artists. While Tampa Bay is their home, many of these artists are nationally recognized with galleries and museums across the nation exhibiting their art. You will be surprised and delighted at what our little gallery has to offer.
Quickly becoming the go-to art gallery in St. Petersburg for realist and representational art, Woodfield Fine Art Gallery will be exhibiting new works by many of our established artists. We are proud to show off the works of more than 20 local artists, many of whom are award winning and nationally renowned. In addition to all of the fine wall art, we will also be exhibiting new sculptural art, and introducing the artists responsible for its creation.
July will see a return to "Summer Heat" featuring Woodfield Fine Art Gallery's established award winning artists, such as Larry Felder, John and Margaret Bayalis, Charles Gray, Rick Yearick, Melissa Harasz, Mary Mirabal, Ninon Chrysochoos, Sylvia Shanahan, Martha Gipson, Paul Stanley, Curt Sneary, and introducing Jakki Kouffman and Curtis Whitwam. Enjoy original art by these and other local Tampa Bay area artists.
The St. Petersburg Father's Day Art Walk is June 10th from 5-9 in the evening. Woodfield Fine Art Gallery will be continuing the exhibit "Naked Truth," which features the art of 19 artists from figure drawing sessions at Eckerd College and the Morean Arts Center. Additional, the landscape, figurative, and abstract works of 16 of the gallery's established artists will be on display.
